Looking for a different kind of CDL-A driving job? We are hiring an experienced CDL-A Vehicle Delivery Driver in Greensboro, NC.
This semi-local position focuses on delivering, relocating and recovering trucks and tractors rather than hauling a traditional freight route. Assignments include a combination of local work and overnight travel.
PAY & SCHEDULE
- $25.00 per hour
- Approximately 50 hours per week for full-time drivers
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- No additional bonus or incentive pay specified
HOME TIME & TRAVEL
- Mix of home-daily and overnight assignments
- Some assignments may require multiple nights on the road
- Travel varies based on vehicle delivery and recovery needs
- Weekday work schedule
THE JOB
- Deliver and recover trucks and tractors
- Relocate vehicles between designated locations
- No driver unloading
- No assigned tractor
- Occasional assistance with driver onboarding
- May assist with road tests and driver training
- Use an online company system to coordinate travel arrangements
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months driving experience
- Must be comfortable driving different trucks and tractors
- Must be willing to travel overnight when assigned
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Must be able to use an online travel-arrangement system
- No riders
- No pets
