Quick Rundown:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven IT Project and Business Improvement Manager to work on-site and spearhead key technology and business improvement initiatives. This role involves managing critical projects such as ERP software conversion, transitioning to a Zoom-based phone system, and ensuring IT operations align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and project management experience, as well as the ability to work directly with technical teams and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
What Youll Do:
1. Project Management
Lead end-to-end project management of IT-related initiatives, including ERP system migration and telecommunication system transitions
Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and track deliverables
Facilitate consistent communication with IT teams, developers, and key stakeholders, ensuring accountability and alignment
2. In-Office Team Coordination
Work closely with IT personnel and developers on-site, fostering direct collaboration to streamline project execution
Provide day-to-day project oversight and support to ensure progress aligns with the organizational vision
Escalate challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner, working collaboratively to find solutions
3. Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies within current IT systems and processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operations
Document workflows and develop user-friendly how-to guides for training and adoption of new systems
Champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for all stakeholders
4. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain meticulous project documentation, including timelines, risk assessments, and progress updates
Create and deliver presentations to leadership, highlighting project milestones and areas for improvement
Develop comprehensive user guides and training materials for new systems and processes
5. Technical Oversight
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of software, system upgrades, and integrations
Conduct quality checks on new systems and ensure they meet operational requirements
Stay informed of emerging IT trends and suggest innovative solutions for business improvement
What We're Looking For:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT project management, business improvement, or a similar role
Experience managing ERP systems, telecommunications platforms, and IT infrastructure
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an office setting
Strong technical expertise, with a background in IT systems, software development, and IT infrastructure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across departments
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, or similar) and documentation software
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Certifications (Preferred)
PMP (Project Management Professional)
ITIL Certification
Agile or Scrum certification
