Summary:

The Cyber Security Specialist will work with the regional teams and ensure that cybersecurity requirements are established. This role will perform periodic risk assessments and suggest applicable remedial measures. This role will design, implement, and maintain security policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Cybersecurity assessment based on standard frameworks

  • Prepare Cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures

  • Conduct Cybersecurity risk assessments

  • Conduct information security reviews and internal audits

  • Assessing potential security threats or breaches and creating vulnerability management and contingency plans

  • Ensure business processes are aligned with cybersecurity requirements

  • Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of security management systems

  • Provide technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, application security

  • Suggesting improvements to existing security systems

  • Training staff for protection against security breaches and risks

  • Regular reporting on Cybersecurity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or equivalent disciplines

  • At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Compliance

  • Excellent knowledge of security governance frameworks & methodologies

  • Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance

  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions

  • Experience with cloud and cloud security

  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Purview solution for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or equivalent

  • A team player that knows how to communicate in layman’s terms and who can analyze, advise on, and solve cybersecurity challenges

  • Relevant certifications such as ISO27K Lead implementer, CISSP, CISM, or CISA is a plus
