We are currently seeking motivated interns to join our team as CAD Operators, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of design and drafting.
Position Overview:
We are seeking interns to join our CAD team as CAD Operators. This internship provides a unique chance for individuals interested in design, engineering, or related fields to develop essential skills in CAD software and contribute to real-world projects. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, interns will have the opportunity to assist in drafting and detailing tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables. Internships will last a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months, with the possibility of shortening for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and objectives.
Assist in the creation and modification of detailed technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Support the generation of 2D and 3D models, layouts, and schematics as needed.
Contribute to the revision and updating of existing drawings based on feedback and changes.
Assist in maintaining organized file structures and documentation for easy access and retrieval.
Participate in design review meetings and provide input on design solutions and improvements.
Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in CAD technology and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., engineering, architecture, drafting, etc.).
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Basic understanding of technical drawing principles and drafting techniques.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
