Position Title: Medical Scheduler (On Call Off Hours)

Work Set Up: On-Site

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of homecare services to our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, matching clients with caregivers, maintaining effective communication between clients, caregivers, and management, and answering incoming calls to direct them to the appropriate department.

What You'll Do:

  • Client, Caregiver, and Nurse Coordination:
    • Assess client needs and match with suitable caregivers/nurses based on compatibility, skills, and availability.

    • Ensure timely replacements and maintain positive relationships with clients and caregivers.

  • Scheduling and Shift Management:
    • Create and manage schedules for clients, caregivers, and nurses.

    • Adjust as needed for client requests or unexpected events, monitoring attendance and resolving scheduling conflicts.

    • Assist staff with system adoption and tech support for clocking in/out and shift notes.

  • Phone Reception and Call Direction:
    • Handle new patient intake calls using the HELP method and direct calls to appropriate departments.

    • Provide assistance and information to callers when necessary.

  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Keep clients updated on schedules and address inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

    • Document changes and maintain accurate records.

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Follow up with clients and caregivers/nurses for satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all scheduling and coordination activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and company policies.

    • Maintain client, nurse, or caregiver records, including contact information, preferences, and care plans.



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or homecare sector.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassion and empathy towards clients and caregivers.

  • Proficiency in computer software and scheduling tools.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance is a plus.
