Quick Rundown:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Payable (AP) Specialist to join our finance team. This role involves handling supplier invoices, processing payments, reconciling financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate has AP experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
What You'll Do:
Invoice & Payment Processing:
Review and manage the approval process for supplier invoices on an ongoing basis
Schedule and process payments on a weekly basis while managing outstanding invoices.
Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices
Expense & Financial Reporting:
Maintain past records for comparison with current data
Organize multiple reports to support AP activities
Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and resolve dispute
Issue Resolution & Compliance:
Investigate and resolve unknown charges or issues with clients or internal teams
Perform other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, reconciliation, or finance-related roles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
Required basic excel skills such as SUM, XLOOKUP, and SUMIF function
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
