Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and assessing wind flow patterns, microclimate conditions, and their impact on various environments and structures. Your expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools such as Ansys and SimScale will be essential to delivering accurate, data-driven insights for optimizing designs and mitigating wind-related risks.
Responsibilities:
Conduct dynamic wind assessments and microclimate analysis for urban environments, buildings, and structures
Use CFD tools like Ansys or SimScale to simulate wind flow, turbulence, and thermal effects
Analyze data to provide recommendations for improving structural resilience and environmental conditions
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists to optimize designs based on wind and climate analysis
Prepare detailed reports and visualizations of findings to communicate complex data to stakeholders
Stay updated on the latest advancements in CFD technology and microclimate research to apply innovative solutions
Contribute to the development of sustainable, wind-efficient structures and urban designs
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Ansys or SimScale for CFD analysis
Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, wind engineering, and microclimate analysis
Bachelors degree Engineering or related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data
Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
