Position Title: Quality Assurance Registered Nurse

Schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PH Time

Quick Rundown:

The Quality Assurance Registered Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by evaluating and monitoring clinical practices, compliance, and outcomes. This position requires a strong clinical background combined with expertise in quality assurance processes, auditing, and healthcare operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Quality Assurance & Monitoring of Clinical Practices:
    • Conduct audits of clinical practices focusing on patient outcomes, safety, and care quality

    • Review patient records to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with standards

    • Identify risks or gaps in care and recommend corrective actions

    • Ensure care plans are evidence-based and aligned with organizational guidelines

    • Collaborate with clinical teams to implement care process improvements


  • Patient and Clinical Documentation Review:
    • Assess the accuracy and compliance of patient documentation (histories, assessments, treatment plans, etc.)

    • Conduct periodic chart audits and provide feedback to enhance clarity and quality


  • Scheduling Oversight & Compliance:
    • Coordinate with scheduling teams to align appointments with provider availability and patient needs

    • Monitor scheduling compliance and address any conflicts or inefficiencies

    • Streamline scheduling processes to reduce errors and improve workflow

  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS) in care and documentation

    • Prepare for audits by maintaining up-to-date and compliant records

    • Identify and mitigate areas of clinical and operational risk

  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Liaise between clinical staff, admin teams, and patients to ensure smooth communication and care delivery

    • Assist in coordinating appointments, pre-visit instructions, and follow-ups

    • Support staff with patient care, documentation, and scheduling concerns

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze QA data and prepare reports on clinical performance, patient outcomes, and scheduling efficiency

    • Track metrics and present recommendations for improvements to leadership

  • Training & Education
    • Train staff on QA, documentation standards, and compliance regulations

    • Lead sessions on patient safety, care coordination, and regulatory updates

  • Patient Care & Coordination
    • Monitor care delivery to ensure timeliness and appropriateness

    • Help coordinate treatments and follow-ups while addressing patient concerns

  • Continuous Quality Improvement
    • Lead or support initiatives to enhance documentation, care quality, and scheduling

    • Use feedback to implement process improvements and track their effectiveness

  • General Administrative Support
    • Maintain accurate records and support general admin tasks such as report preparation and meeting coordination


What We're Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

  • 3-5 years in clinical nursing or healthcare; experience in QA, clinical auditing, or healthcare management preferred

  • Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulations, and QA processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficient in EHR and scheduling software

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Committed to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

  • Active RN license is required

  • CPHQ or related QA/healthcare management certification
