Quick Rundown:

The Finance Director oversees the accounting team and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting. This role involves financial analysis, reconciliation, and implementing efficient processes to meet regulatory requirements. The position contributes to strategic financial planning and collaborates with leadership, property teams, auditors, tax authorities, and lenders.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee finance, accounting, and administrative functions

• Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closeouts, including reconciliations and journal entries

• Present financial reports to leadership 

• Financial Modeling

• Generate financial statements and cash flow reports

• Prepare and review journal entries; manage accounts receivable/payable

• Develop forecasting and budgeting processes

• Analyze and report financial trends

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations

• Prepare P&L and cash flow forecasts

• Serve as audit liaison; review property tax returns

• Oversee treasury and vendor management

• Collaborate with external CPA on loans and projects

• Lead improvements in accounting processes and controls

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, USALI, and state and federal regulations through effective financial policies and procedures

• Oversee Accountant/Bookkeeper

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)

• 10+ years of accounting experience

• Experience with multi-entity accounting

• QuickBooks Online experience is required for this role

• Financial modeling will be a key responsibility.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online

• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis capability

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
