Position Title: Full Stack Web Developer

Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor

Primary Relationships: Partner Team

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM PHT


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications and business tools according to agreed specifications

  • Ensure smooth integration of web development projects with long-term business objectives

  • Identify areas for improvement and coordinate appropriate solutions

  • Prioritize development projects based on business needs and assign tasks to team members

  • Manage and complete assigned tasks to ensure timely project deliverables

  • Provide leadership and support to the web development team, fostering a positive work environment

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties.

  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WorkSafe NZ requirements, and industry best practices

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs or other issues

  • Research and recommend the best technologies and platforms for web solutions

  • Oversee suppliers, platforms, and technologies required for hosting company web properties


Qualifications:

  • Recognized qualification in Computer Science, Web Development & Design, or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack MVC Development, including PHP, OOP, JavaScript, Git, React, Docker, MySQL, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and Laravel

  • Experience with E-commerce platforms, such as Magento, and developing custom E-commerce solutions

  • Proficiency in web development project management, including planning, scoping, developing, and maintaining web applications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in robust testing of web projects

  • Expertise in programming (front-end and back-end) with technologies such as Laravel Livewire, AlpineJS, React/Vue, JSON, and others

  • DevOps experience managing domains, DNS, Linux-based servers, and AWS services

  • Strong time management, project management, and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
