Quick Rundown::
We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer (PHP/Laravel) to design, develop, and maintain web applications and business tools. The role involves ensuring project alignment with business goals, leading development teams, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with policies, conduct thorough testing, and recommend the best technologies for web solutions.
What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain web applications and business tools according to agreed specifications
Ensure smooth integration of web development projects with long-term business objectives
Identify areas for improvement and coordinate appropriate solutions
Prioritize development projects based on business needs and assign tasks to team members
Manage and complete assigned tasks to ensure timely project deliverables
Provide leadership and support to the web development team, fostering a positive work environment
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties.
Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company policies, WorkSafe NZ requirements, and industry best practices
Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs or other issues
Research and recommend the best technologies and platforms for web solutions
Oversee suppliers, platforms, and technologies required for hosting company web properties
What We're Looking For:
Recognized qualification in Computer Science, Web Development & Design, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack MVC Development, including PHP, OOP, JavaScript, Git, React, Docker, MySQL, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and Laravel
Experience with E-commerce platforms, such as Magento, and developing custom E-commerce solutions
Proficiency in web development project management, including planning, scoping, developing, and maintaining web applications
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in robust testing of web projects
Expertise in programming (front-end and back-end) with technologies such as Laravel Livewire, AlpineJS, React/Vue, JSON, and others
DevOps experience managing domains, DNS, Linux-based servers, and AWS services
Strong time management, project management, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
