Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects. You will collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of MEP systems, ensuring they meet design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct detailed analysis, simulations, and modeling of building systems to optimize efficiency and performance
Collaborate with project teams to provide MEP design support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through construction
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for MEP systems
Monitor the installation of MEP systems and resolve any design or technical issues
Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment and system procurement
Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and is compliant with relevant codes and standards
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related engineering field.
3-5 years of experience as an MEP Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design and drafting tools is a plus
Experience using any of the following:
Proficiency in Amtech (Electrical Design Package)
Experience with Dialux Lighting Design Software
Experience with Relux Lighting Design Software
Familiarity with Hevacomp (Full MEP Design Suite Software)
Proficiency in IES (Dynamic Modelling Software)
Experience with Cymap (Full MEP Design Suite Software)
