Quick Rundown:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the energy performance of residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and providing recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. This role will require a thorough understanding of renewable energy solutions and proficiency in performing energy assessments under the guidelines of SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure).

What You'll Do:

• Conduct detailed energy assessments of buildings, ensuring compliance with British Building Regulation PART L or Part O

• Performing SAP assessments to evaluate energy performance and provide accurate reports

• Recommend energy-efficient solutions, including renewable energy options, to enhance building sustainability

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure buildings meet energy efficiency standards

• Stay up to date with the latest regulations and advancements in renewable energy and energy assessment methodologies

• Providing consultation and advice on improving energy performance and compliance with sustainability goals

• Document findings and provide clear, detailed reports to stakeholders

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards

What Were Looking For:

• SAP Assessor Certification (British Building Regulation PART L, Part O) is essential

• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and their application in energy assessments

• Good aptitude for learning new tools, technologies, and regulations in the energy sector

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
