Responsibilities:

Customer Relationships & Service Excellence:

  • Cultivate and nurture value-adding relationships with customers, ensuring they experience excellence in our products, print, and service levels.

  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-centric approach, promoting positive customer perceptions of our brand and services.

  • Conduct regular engagement with distributors through face-to-face meetings, video calls, and emails, ensuring they feel supported and valued.

  • Actively promote our product capabilities to generate quality sales leads and support customer sales growth.


Mentorship & Team Collaboration:

  • Set a benchmark for quality, productivity, and respect, guiding team members to embrace inclusivity and continuous learning.

  • Mentor team members, identify knowledge gaps, and provide support to enhance skills within the department.


Product & Service Education:

  • Ensure distributors are well-informed of product improvements, industry trends, and our value proposition.

  • Distribute educational material, provide training, and support the development of promotional tools to optimize customer sales and profitability.

Sales Support & Reporting:

  • Support sales initiatives, manage customer projects, and work closely with the sales team to maintain high service levels.

  • Report on sales performance, growth, and customer feedback, recommending improvements for optimized sales processes.

  • Gather market insights and provide relevant updates to the Sales Manager to drive promotional strategies and new product ideas.


CRM & Process Improvement:

  • Oversee CRM maintenance and ensure continuous improvement to meet evolving customer needs.

  • Clearly communicate service gaps across the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales department.


Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Comply with company policies and Worksafe NZ requirements, maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

  • Report any accidents, hazards, and near misses, ensuring all required PPE is worn as per company guidelines.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business, Communications, or a related field is advantageous

  • International Business Development experience in the Asia region in particular in Singapore

  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred

  • A strong customer-centric approach with a commitment to excellence

  • Skilled in resolving complex customer issues and handling negotiations

  • Ability to build effective relationships and engage distributors with the clients offerings

  • Competent in a range of software systems, with the ability to meet customer needs

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of the promotional print industry is an advantage but not essential

  • Confident communicator with the ability to gain trust, build respect, and foster strong business relationships

  • Skilled at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities independently

  • Proficient in proactive customer engagement, including managing inbound/outbound calls and cold calling
