Quick Rundown:
As a Sales Representative, you will support sales inquiries, assist end users, and guide the sales process by providing recommendations. Strong communication via phone and email is essential, along with a focus on accuracy, timely task completion, and high-quality service. Your primary goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
Complete fact finds with customers when necessary to understand the customers needs and requirements
Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations and visuals for customers based on their requirements
Identify potential opportunities to upsell and cross sell with every customer
Recommend our best-selling products, offer additional products and price breaks
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the quotation and artwork process, including correct item quoting, supplier selection, and appropriate markup
Proactivity touch base with customers on a regular basis with the view to build customer accounts. Convert leads into sales handling potential objects which may arise
Continuously update and maintain product and supplier knowledge, staying informed about pricing, best selling products, upcoming events and changes in offerings
Monitor and track quotation metrics, including the number of leads quoted and the quality of quotes, to meet or exceed targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and marketing, to gather necessary information to maximise the potential on every lead
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a related industry
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple quotations simultaneously
Proficient in using quotation and CRM software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking to ensure accurate pricing and markup
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Display polite and professional communication via phone, chat and email at all times. Ensuring customer satisfaction is key
Understanding of sales techniques and methodologies
Highly motivated and target-driven individual with a passion for driving business growth
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency to meet customer needs and achieve targets
