Job Overview: We are seeking to hire an experienced commercial litigation associate or counsel to join our office in Washington, DC. The position is in our Construction and Real Estate Litigation practice group. The successful candidate will work on matters in that practice group as well as general commercial litigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle commercial litigation cases, including those in the Construction and Real Estate Litigation practice group.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Participate in hearings and trials.
  • Manage a varied caseload involving complex issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 to 8 years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Significant experience in taking and defending depositions.
  • Hearing and some trial experience.
  • Ability to handle complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Admission to practice in DC; admission in VA and/or MD is a plus.

Salary: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $325,000 to $350,000. In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on factors such as work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. The listed salary range is a good faith estimate of the annual salary expected at the time of this posting.
