Job Overview: We are seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join our Complex Disputes Practice Group in our Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of litigation experience, including work in probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation, and will be involved in all aspects of complex civil litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and handle discovery practices, including depositions and written discovery.
- Manage large-scale document production, including electronic discovery.
- Participate in courtroom motion practice and trial work, often as second chair.
- Supervise support staff such as paralegals.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of litigation experience in probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation.
- Experience in complex civil litigation, including legal research, discovery practices, large-scale document production, courtroom motion practice, and trial work.
- Massachusetts State Bar admission is required.
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills.
- Superb judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client services.
Salary: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000, in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws. In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on factors such as work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications.
