Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral disorders.
  • Engage in individual and group therapy sessions to promote optimal mental, emotional, and social health.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to patient needs.
  • Employ standardized psychological tests for accurate client evaluations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive patient care and treatment planning.
  • Advance psychological research, present findings at symposiums, and contribute scholarly articles to professional publications.
  • Provide expert consultation services to a range of external bodies, including educational institutions and government agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
  • Proven record of ethical practice and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in evidence-based psychological methods.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
