Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral disorders.
- Engage in individual and group therapy sessions to promote optimal mental, emotional, and social health.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to patient needs.
- Employ standardized psychological tests for accurate client evaluations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive patient care and treatment planning.
- Advance psychological research, present findings at symposiums, and contribute scholarly articles to professional publications.
- Provide expert consultation services to a range of external bodies, including educational institutions and government agencies.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
- Proven record of ethical practice and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in evidence-based psychological methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
