Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour

Shifts: Night shifts (mixed pattern)

The Role

We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable SIA-licensed Security Officer to join a corporate residential site in West Ealing. This is a lone-working, night-shift position requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service approach.

Shift Pattern 1 -

Monday: 17:00 – 09:00

Tuesday: 17:00 – 09:00

Friday: 17:00 – 09:00

Saturday: 21:00 – 09:00

Shift Pattern 2 -

Wednesday– 17:00 till 09:00

Thursday – 17:00 till 09:00

Saturday – 09:00 till 21:00

Sunday– 09:00 till 21:00

Key Responsibilities

• Access control and monitoring site entry/exit
• Maintaining accurate access, visitor, and incident records
• CCTV monitoring and control room duties
• Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances
• Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries professionally
• Managing visitors, appointments, and deliveries
• Notifying relevant staff of visitor arrivals
• Maintaining logbooks and registers
• Monitoring building systems (e.g. alarms, HVAC systems)
• Liaising with emergency services when required
• Supporting visitors on departure (e.g. arranging taxis)
• Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and site presentation

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (essential)
• Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
• Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused
• Confident using computers and security systems
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• CCTV experience desirable
