CCTV Operator
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1
Pay Rate: £14.78 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week – 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive CCTV Operator to join a fast-paced retail control room environment. This is a dynamic role where you will monitor live incidents, respond quickly to situations, and support the safety of a busy retail site.

Key Duties

• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents in real time

• Manage access control and maintain accurate records

• Act as a key communication point within the control room

• Handle alarms, emergencies, and liaise with emergency services

• Complete incident reports and maintain control room logs

• Support the smooth running of a high-pressure environment

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence and CCTV Licence (essential)

• Strong communication and IT skills

• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure

• Experience in a busy control room or retail environment (desirable)

• Professional and reliable with a strong attention to detail
