Job title: Access Control Engineer

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge

Hours / Days: Monday to Friday 8am 5pm (42.5-hour week)

Job type: Full time permanent

Salary: £32,000 to £42,000 dependent on experience plus additional on call / overtime / call out payments

We are looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join our forward-thinking client to undertake the repair, maintenance and installation of Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Access control, Intruder Alarm Systems & CCTV experience.

• Servicing & installing intruder systems, specifically Entrotec, Galaxy, Firmax or Paxton, NKC, Texecom, CSL's Grade shift Prowith. Knowledge of Ajax & Galaxy would be considered useful but not essential. (2 years minimum)
• Servicing & Installing CCTV, specifically HIK, Concept Pro & Uniview.

• Able to manage your own jobs taking ownership from start to finish.
• Experience with fault finding and maintenance
• Great customer facing skills.
• Able to complete reports of work done
• Maintain Security Systems in your assigned area.
• Respond to service calls on all types of Security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.
• Plan and respond to routine and re-active call visits in your area.
• Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits.
• Attend training sessions as and when required.
