Material Supply Planner

Material Supply Planner - Boston - £35,000

We are looking for someone who is:

• An effective communicator with ability to prioritise. Strong organisational skills.
• Numerate and analytical, comfortable with intermediate/advanced XLS.
• Experienced in SAP ERP and related supply planning software.
• Comfortable within fast-paced operations; effective problem-solving skills.
• Able to demonstrate a growth & continuous improvement mindset.

Key Deliverables

• Manage inventory levels and replenishment cycles to ensure the most cost-effective supply flows while maintaining targeted service levels.
• Communicate in weekly S&OE sessions any variances to plan along with countermeasures to maintain optimum inventory.
• Alongside Procurement coordinate planning and execution of inbound replenishment from vendors
• Analyse and create solutions for any raw material or traded product stock shortages identified.
• Lead the supply planning activities for your product range, communicating upstream with suppliers as well as with various business stakeholders.
• Report and communicate on supply shortages along with countermeasures prepared to ensure excellent product availability and customer service.
• Review stock rotation and slow-moving inventory, drive alternatives and options through the production planning activities to minimise risk of obsolescence.
• Analyse product demands through the S&OP cycle to prepare for actions and adjustments needed for the net purchase and inbound supply planning activities.
