Role: Security Officer
Location: Leeds LS9
Pay Rate: £12.61 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday Nights 18:00-06:00 / Saturday & Sunday Days 06:00-18:00, must be able to do both
Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks.
Duties:
You will be based at the Site which is a Wharehouse with offices within the building. You will be monitoring CCTV also carrying out patrols and lock up process
The Security Officer will perform a range of duties based on the specific site requirements, which may include
- Main Duties:
- Control access and egress for all visitors to the site.
- Manage alarms, including fire panels and intruder alerts.
- Record and monitor all visitors and contractors on site.
- Conduct searches on individuals and vehicles as necessary.
- Perform vehicle inspections.
- Maintain documentation and reporting.
- Conduct regular patrols.
- Respond effectively in emergencies.
- Monitoring CCTV
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with computers and technology.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physically fit, with the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Valid SIA licence is essential.
