Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead industrial projects across various sectors. This role offers the opportunity to drive electrical design, mentor teams, and contribute to the growth of the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide technical leadership, overseeing power distribution, lighting, and control system designs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers.
• Conduct site assessments, troubleshoot electrical systems, and provide expert solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• P.Eng. designation in Ontario.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial projects (manufacturing, energy, processing, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, automation, control systems, and electrical safety codes.
• Experience leading projects and teams.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
