City Build Recruitment is working with our client, a prominent construction firm in Toronto, to hire a Project Superintendent. This role will oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards. The Superintendent will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and monitor project schedules, allocate resources, and adjust timelines as needed.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Health & Safety Act.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of labour, equipment, and materials.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including field orders, safety reports, and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent role with extensive knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Trade certification or Gold Seal Certification is a plus.
