About the Role:

Our client, a well-established architectural firm in Edmonton with a team of 50+ professionals, is seeking a skilled Architect to lead commercial and institutional projects. This role is perfect for an experienced architect whos passionate about designing impactful spaces and eager to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment. If you have 10+ years of experience in architecture and are open to relocating to Edmonton, this could be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead design efforts for commercial and institutional projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Client Engagement: Act as the clients primary point of contact, building strong relationships and guiding them through the project lifecycle.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project teams, including designers, engineers, and other architects, to develop cohesive and innovative project solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Oversee the preparation of architectural plans, specifications, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver results within scope and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in architecture, with a strong focus on commercial and institutional projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), with a comprehensive understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Education: Masters degree in Architecture, and licensure as a registered architect.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
