Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Technologist to join our clients dynamic firm in Edmonton. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of institutional and commercial projects. You will collaborate with architects and project managers to create innovative solutions that meet client needs and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for institutional and commercial projects.
• Develop and modify detailed construction documents using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications and regulations.
• Stay updated on building codes, regulations, and industry trends to ensure all designs are compliant and innovative.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
• Support the preparation of project presentations and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in architectural design and documentation, preferably in institutional and commercial sectors.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
