Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:

Manage and administer contracts between the firm, clients, contractors, and consultants.

Review and interpret architectural contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and specifications.

Prepare, review, and process change orders, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other contract documents.

Monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

Construction Documentation:

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to prepare and review construction documents.

Ensure that all construction documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with contractual requirements.

Manage the distribution of documents and maintain accurate records for reference and audit purposes.

Project Coordination:

Act as a liaison between the architectural team, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Oversee the construction phase of projects, including site visits, inspections, and meetings.

Identify and resolve any discrepancies or conflicts that arise during construction, working to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Assist in the negotiation and resolution of claims, disputes, and contract-related issues.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all construction activities are performed in compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is performed to the specified quality.

Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring that payments are aligned with the work completed.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present regular reports on project status, including budget, schedule, and contract performance.

Maintain detailed records of all contract-related activities, correspondence, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration within the architecture or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of architectural contracts, construction processes, and industry standards.

Proficiency in contract management software and construction administration tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
