About the Opportunity
City Build Recruitment is partnering with our client, a top-tier architecture firm, to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background in healthcare design and construction. This role is ideal for a licensed OAA Architect with a deep understanding of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and scope management. You'll work closely with a Studio Manager to deliver complex healthcare projects, from renovations to new builds, while overseeing the full project lifecycle.
This is a fully remote opportunity, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Canada. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience managing Canadian healthcare projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of healthcare projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
 - Scope Management: Ensure clear and comprehensive project scope definition, with a strong focus on delivering within scope, time, and budget.
 - Budgeting & Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-efficiency.
 - Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
 - Change Management: Implement change management strategies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
 - Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
 - Internal Resourcing: Allocate and manage internal resources to meet project demands.
 - Client-Focused: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met at every stage of the project.
 - Collaboration: Work closely with the Studio Manager to manage project teams and ensure successful project delivery from renovations to new builds.
 
What Our Client is Looking For:
- Licensed Architect (OAA) with a minimum of 5+ years of Canadian healthcare project experience.
 - Strong project management skills with a focus on scope management, budgeting, and scheduling.
 - Experience in financial management and cost control.
 - Expertise in stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
 - Solution-oriented, with the ability to manage changes effectively and deliver innovative solutions.
 - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining excellent communication with the team.
 - Knowledge of change management processes in architectural projects.
