City Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading architectural firm to find an experienced Intermediate Architectural Technologist specializing in Healthcare and Higher Education projects. We are looking for professionals with a strong technical background who can hit the ground running and contribute to high-profile, impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed working drawings and construction documents for healthcare and higher education projects
• Assist in the preparation of design development and contract documents
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and design integrity
• Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
• Review and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and other relevant regulations
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing site queries and RFIs
• Utilize Revit and other design software to produce high-quality, accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in architectural technology, specifically in healthcare or higher education projects
• Strong proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Solid understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction methods
• Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and other relevant regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
