The Team Lead is responsible for guiding and managing content strategy for the Mexican market, with additional oversight for Chile, Colombia, and other Latam countries. This role includes developing content plans, crafting detailed briefs for the Retention team (covering emails, SMS, and push notifications), verifying promotional details, generating creative ideas, and ensuring high-quality, accurate content across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retention Content Planning and Development:

Create comprehensive content plans tailored to the Mexican market, with additional considerations for Chile, Colombia, and other Latam countries.

Develop detailed briefs for the Retention team to guide emails, SMS, and push notifications, ensuring all information aligns with promotional objectives and brand guidelines.

Verify information about tournaments, promotional codes, and other key details to ensure accuracy and relevance in all retention content.

  • Idea Generation:

Generate engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiences in Mexico, additionally in Chile, Colombia, and other Latam countries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ideas with broader marketing strategies and goals.

  • Mentorship and Guidance:

Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to the Editor and Copywriter, focusing on content accuracy, consistency, and quality for Retention.

Offer feedback and training to help team members develop and grow professionally in their roles.

  • Quality Assurance:

Review and approve content briefs, making sure all information provided to the Retention team is correct and clear.

Ensure all promotional details for tournaments and offers are accurately conveyed in content plans and briefs.

Coordinate with the Editor and Copywriter to maintain consistency and adherence to brand standards across all content types, especially retention-focused communications.

  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Social Media, Retention, and Design, to ensure content aligns with overall marketing campaigns and brand identity.

Foster clear and effective communication across teams to maintain consistency and quality in content execution for Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and other Latam countries

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content strategy, planning, and management (iGaming experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican, Chilean, and Colombian markets and cultural nuances.
  • Native-level Spanish proficiency with the ability to adapt content for LatAm countries.
  • Fluency in English (C1/C2 level).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proven track record of efficiency in delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, content management systems, and A/B testing.
