As a Country Manager - Mexico you would be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the business strategy for the Mexican market in alignment with the company’s global objectives.
- Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create localized campaigns and promotions.
- Collaborating with the retention team to create a localized retention calendar and bonuses.
- Overseeing daily operations in Mexico, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency.
- Syncing work and acting as the main point of contact between local operations and headquarters.
- Ensuring that all activities adhere to local laws and regulatory requirements.
- Acting as the liaison with regulatory bodies and handling licensing and compliance matters.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, affiliates, and partners in the region.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize opportunities for growth.
- Monitoring the performance of the business in Mexico.
- Providing regular updates and insights to the headquarters on market performance.
- Driving initiatives related to tailoring existing product to the Mexican market.
- Together with the QA team, conduct product tests to find inefficiencies and seek optimization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the iGaming industry, specifically in a B2C environment.
- Deep understanding of the Mexican market, including cultural, legal, and regulatory nuances.
- Strong business acumen and experience in market entry and growth strategies.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Existing relationships with key players in the Mexican iGaming sector (affiliates, regulators, payment providers, partners).
Experience with customer retention strategies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, affiliate programs, and customer acquisition strategies.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
