They are hiring a CRM Marketing Specialist to help plan, launch, and optimize player communications across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, Push, and in-app. You’ll configure bonus/promo mechanics, build campaigns and journeys in Customer.io, and partner with copy/design/localization to ship high-quality, compliant communications that drive activation, retention, and reactivation.

As a CRM Marketing Specialist at their company, your responsibilities will be:

Campaign execution

  • Set up and launch segmented campaigns and automated journeys in Customer.io (or similar).
  • Build audiences, triggers, send rules, and frequency caps; ensure tracking parameters and deep links work.
  • Run basic A/B tests (subject lines, creatives, incentive levels) and document results.

Bonus & promotion setup

  • Configure standard promos (welcome, reload, free spins/bets, cashback) per brief.
  • Apply eligibility rules, cooldowns, and key T&Cs; perform QA to prevent edge-case abuse.

Content production coordination

  • Create clear briefs and tickets for copywriters, designers, translators; manage assets and approvals.
  • Keep the offer & content calendar updated; maintain naming/version control for templates.

Reporting & hygiene

  • Prepare weekly dashboards: sends, delivery, opens/clicks, conversions (deposit/wager), unsubscribes/complaints.
  • Monitor deliverability, list hygiene, consent states, and WhatsApp/SMS opt-in quality.

Data & tooling

  • Use Liquid/dynamic content, variables, and conditional logic in templates.
  • Partner with Product/BI to validate events/attributes from the CDP and log bugs or gaps.


Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years in CRM/Lifecycle marketing or marketing automation (iGaming, mobile apps, e-commerce, or fintech).
  • Hands-on experience with Customer.io or similar (journeys, segments, templates).
  • Comfortable with CSV audience checks, UTMs, QA checklists, and basic funnel/retention metrics.
  • Working knowledge of HTML for emails and WYSIWYG editors (Stripo etc); familiarity with Liquid/Handlebars is a plus.
  • Strong organization and communication skills; able to manage multiple briefs and deadlines.
  • English proficiency for briefs and stakeholder updates; experience with localization workflows.


Bonus points if you have:

  • iGaming exposure (casino/sportsbook): bonus wallets, common promo types, VIP or reactivation programs.
  • Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN) or spreadsheet proficiency; Looker/Metabase/BigQuery familiarity.
  • Experience with WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, and push (FCM/APNs).
  • Understanding of deliverability concepts (sender reputation, list hygiene, seed tests).
