JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Paralegal will provide high-level support by conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Employee will:

  • Conduct due diligence and documentations on the transfer of shares/ownership/titles to real, personal, incorporeal properties.
  • Update STB monitoring and other documents as necessary
  • Provide support for the responsibilities and activities of the Legal Department, including general research, coordination, preparation, monitoring and safekeeping of various documents.
  • Draft and proofread copy of legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts.
  • Represent Company in administrative hearings and other meetings involving legal matters, where permissible, and as directed
  • File and record minutes of the meeting.
  • Keep abreast of regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files and legal advice.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain all legal documents in a confidential way.
  • Perform other related duties and functions as may be deemed necessary.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Ongoing Law Degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent) – Must be currently enrolled in law school preferably Junior law student
  • At least 5+ years of experience in corporate law, contracts, or litigation support.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, business law, and contract management
  • Proven ability to handle confidential legal matters independently.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and legal processes
