The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing both soft and hard facility services, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of a company's physical environment and assets. This includes managing maintenance, safety and security, cleanliness, and overall functionality. In addition, the role involves cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


As a Safety Officer and Pollution Control Officer, the Property Manager ensures strict adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, along with implementing relevant safety initiatives and pollution control measures. The position requires ensuring that facilities comply with all applicable regulations, providing a safe, sustainable, and efficient environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

This role integrates people, place, and process within the built environment, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for individuals and optimizing the productivity of the core business operations

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe and productive work environment for employees and customers
  • Ensuring the safety and functionality of the companys properties, assets, and environment meeting the necessary needs and requirements of all stakeholders
  • Compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and relevant regulatory agencies, including DOLE, DENR, while serving as both the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Safety Officer (SO)
  • Management of facility-related inquiries and concerns
  • Professional customer service and coordination with various internal departments
  • Proper security measures
  • Management of space, infrastructure, assets, utilities, billings, and service provider
  • Staff and process management including training and development
  • Reduce risks and liabilities and eliminate unnecessary expense
  • Routine and non-routine inspections and repairs
  • Create strategic and operational programs and initiatives for facility management
  • Day-to-day planning, safety, and operations of the team
  • Maintains relationships with contractors, landlords, vendors, and relevant government agencies
  • Support services and all other related tasks that may be required from time to time

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security
  • Proficiency in facilities management standards, software and tools
  • Proven expertise in safety and environmental governance;
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Clear understanding of facility-related laws and regulations
  • Proactive programs and initiatives on facilities management
  • High quality reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences
  • Advance skill level in managing emergencies and crises effectively
