About the job Sales Support Specialist
The Airline Sales Support Officer provides comprehensive operational and administrative support to the airlines Sales and Commercial teams. This role plays a key part in supporting revenue generation, maintaining strong relationships with travel agencies and corporate accounts, and ensuring smooth coordination across internal departments. The position requires strict adherence to airline commercial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal approval processes.
Responsibilities
The Employee will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Airline Sales and Commercial teams
- Support relationship management with travel agencies, corporate clients, and key accounts
- Prepare, process, and maintain sales-related documentation, including contracts, agreements, fare proposals, incentive files, and sales reports
- Coordinate closely with Reservations & Ticketing, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and other internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Monitor agency performance, sales targets, booking trends, and market activity; prepare regular summary and performance reports
- Support sales promotions, incentive programs, trade events, roadshows, and travel fairs
- Handle agency and corporate inquiries related to fares, incentives, policies, procedures, and required documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, agency databases, and distribution lists
- Assist in the implementation, tracking, and evaluation of sales campaigns and incentive programs
- Ensure compliance with airline commercial policies, IATA regulations, Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) requirements, and internal approval and governance processes
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Aviation Management, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in airline sales support, travel industry sales, or commercial operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of airline distribution systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is an advantage
Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint - Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced airline environment
