The OTC Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all customer payments are collected, accurately allocated, and efficiently managed at the OPCO level. The role supports effective cash flow management by adhering to core Accounts Receivable and Order‑to‑Cash processes, optimizing payment methods, and resolving payment discrepancies. Working closely with Finance, Shared Services, and Operations, the OTC Specialist contributes to continuous process improvement, accurate reporting, and the delivery of AR performance targets while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

The employee will:

  • Performs in delivery capacity to ensure all OPCOS customer payments are received at OPCOS level and fully optimized in terms of collection and appropriate allocation
  • Follows core Accounts receivable processes to ensure highly accurate customer payment collection and subsequent allocation 
  • Implements and delivers against optimized payment methods, collection and allocation seeking to maximize cost to serve and reduce costs/issues and inaccuracy at each stage using the OTC and Finance roadmap as a lever for progress. 
  • Provide management of unallocated credits (UCRs)
  • Provides management of unidentified payments & collection posting (matching in MSNav)
  • Ensures all accounts receivable KPI's /KII's are delivered against working closely with other CSC teams, branch and finance team to ensure performance / customer satisfaction achieved.
  • Practically ensures that customer payments process as review constantly and progressive actions such as migration to billing is enabled
  • Personally responsible for payment allocation and associated MSNav master data payment accuracy
  • Implements and delivers against identified OTC/Finance programs regarding payment processes and works closely with Shared Services Accounts Receivable Manager to ensure coordinated delivery of results.
  • Presents overall personal performance on regular basis at various business meetings – ensuring accurate picture re accounts receivable reflected- is able to reflect trends and provide support within OPCOS decision making processes re payment optimization and issues.
  • Responsible for creating and publishing personal reports re cost to serve, migration to new methods, payment type promotion, collection.
  • Works with branch teams (Ops, Productions, Distribution) to ensure coordinated approach re OTC accounts receivable process

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related 4‑year course (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Economics, or other related disciplines)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Finance, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, or another related role
  • Strong understanding of overall business operations, ideally with hands‑on knowledge of customer service operations, commercial or sales support, billing, and HPO Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes
  • Thorough knowledge of the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash process, including collections, payment allocation, dispute handling, and credit management
  • Broad commercial and credit management knowledge supported by strong financial and accounting fundamentals
  • Proven experience in leading or supporting change initiatives, including process improvements, payment optimization, or system‑related enhancements
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
