English Teacher

Were looking to hire a High School English Teacher for a high school based in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to High school students with the provided American Common Core as guide and framework
  
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
• Evaluate students academic and social growth, record appropriate records and prepare progress reports
• Communicate with parents
• Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers
• Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions
• Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of school location
• Up to 25 teaching classes a week

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor degree or above major in education or relevant
• At least 2 years teaching experience
• Additional Requirements: 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience in US curriculum (experience with English Language Learners preferred)

Compensation package

• Monthly salary based on experience and qualifications up to 28,000 RMB
• Monthly housing allowance 4500RMB
