Head of Physics

We are looking for a Head of Physics for a bilingual school based in Changzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

Job details

• Teach the schools physics subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years old
• Develop, review, and update the math curriculum to align with state/national standards and school objectives.
• Guide teaching strategies, integrate technology, and ensure effective pedagogy across grade levels.
• Mentor math teachers, conduct evaluations, organize professional development, and manage departmental staffing.
• Monitor assessment data, identify trends, and implement interventions to improve outcomes.
• Work with administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address concerns and enhance program visibility.
• Oversee the department budget, textbooks, and educational tools.

Requirements

• You have experience of teaching IGCSE and A Level
• Teaching license
• Teaching in a mixed-ability classroom
• A proven track-record of success in the classroom

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 38,000 to 45,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
