Outside Sales Representative – Masonry
Location: Milwaukee
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 base salary + uncapped commission (First-year OTE: $100,000)

About the Role

We're partnering with a well-established building materials distributor serving southeastern Wisconsin to hire a motivated, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative. This role is centered on building strong relationships with architects, contractors, masons, developers, and homeowners. You'll work directly with customers to understand their project needs and recommend the right masonry and hardscape products. This is a consultative sales role—not transactional counter sales—and is well suited for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, learning products, and growing long-term accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, masons, architects, and other industry

  • Develop new customer relationships and support repeat business
  • Meet with customers to understand project needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Assist with estimates, material calculations, and purchase agreements
  • Work closely with inside sales and vendors to support project planning and order fulfillment
  • Communicate professionally with customers in person, by phone, and via email

Qualifications

  • Experience in outside sales, inside sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Background in building materials, construction, or related industries is a plus
  • Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and job site visits
  • Professional, reliable, and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Strong communication skills and a relationship-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple projects, and follow through
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office applications
