Position Overview
Our client is a well-established construction firm specializing in Amenity Centers and Large-Format Park projects across the Texas market. Known for their organized project execution and collaborative team environment, the company manages complex, community-focused projects that require strong leadership and communication.
They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. This is a senior-level, primarily office-based position focused on project planning, scheduling, coordination, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple stakeholders and project teams. This role is supported by a dedicated Project Coordinator, allowing the Senior Project Manager to focus on high-level execution and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple Amenity Center and Large-Format Park projects concurrently
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and overall project execution
- Maintain and update master project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication
- Coordinate closely with Construction Managers and subcontractors
- Communicate regularly with upper management and cross-functional internal teams
- Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings as required
- Provide leadership and direction across multiple active projects
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and workflow in collaboration with the Project Coordinator
- Ensure overall scheduling alignment for projects that include buildings (without direct responsibility for building construction)
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in construction
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong background in project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with construction managers and subcontractors
- Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills
- Comfortable working in a primarily office-based role with occasional field visits
