Our Construction Division was founded 10 years ago as a structural and civil concrete provider. The Construction Division is experienced in multi-phase, multi-million-dollar, long-term projects and is backed by the Sawing and Drilling Division, a concrete services leader for 20 years. Two decades of specialized concrete experience have made us a go-to for site work, foundations, and tilt-wall.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience who is looking for their next challenge. This opportunity also has an unlimited commission structure and the ability to really grow within the organization. The ideal candidate would be someone who has 2+ years of Estimating/Project Management experience and is able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

In Office:

  • Successfully manage projects of various sizes ranging from $30,000 to $5 million.
  • Execute a successful hand-off of duties between estimation and your role, and between your role and the Superintendent. For example, understand plans, timelines, and budgets by asking the right questions.
  • Understand project contracts inside and out and be experienced in negotiating contractual agreements in the event a problem arises.
  • Maintain project margin by tracking project budgets, expenditures, and POs.
  • Maintain timely and accurate billing.
  • Adjust timelines and budgets (change orders) as needed based on weather events, scope changes, and other delays, and communicate those changes to the team and clients.
  • Build and manage client relationships, including leading regular progress meetings.

On Site:

  • Perform job site walkthroughs.
  • Perform pre-job planning and scheduling.
  • Plan pre-project meetings with the Superintendent and other entities as required.
  • Ensure the work performed is on track, on budget, and meets the specified requirements.
  • Identify and address challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Be knowledgeable and well-versed in project scope and seen as the concrete expert on-site.

Salary- $75,000-90,000
