Act as the first line of communication for subcontractor questions, issues, and project needs
Communicate directly with clients and provide consistent updates throughout the project
Visit job sites regularly to understand project progress and address issues as they arise
Identify potential problems early and proactively work toward solutions
Assist with project planning, scheduling, coordination, and closeout
Maintain organized project records and documentation
Work closely with the owner to transition increasing project-management responsibilities over time
Help establish efficient systems and processes as the company continues to grow
What We're Looking For
3+ years of construction project management, assistant project management, or project engineering experience
Experience managing or supporting active construction projects
Strong understanding of construction project-management processes
Ability to work comfortably between the office and job site
Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
Strong computer and project-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Experience with Bluebeam and/or Microsoft Project is a plus, but not required
Residential construction, remodeling, or commercial construction experience will be considered
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a positive, hardworking, optimistic, and naturally driven professional who takes ownership of their work and genuinely wants to contribute to the company's success. They should be someone who stays calm and solution-oriented when projects become challenging, communicates with kindness and professionalism, and brings positive energy to their interactions with clients, subcontractors, and teammates
