Position Overview

We're looking for a superintendent who leads with quiet confidence, treats people with respect, and takes pride in delivering homes where craftsmanship, detail, and pride of work truly matter. This role is ideal for someone who is polished, steady, and relationship-oriented someone who communicates clearly with clients, architects, and designers, and also earns the respect of the trades in the field. As a Residential Construction Superintendent, you'll oversee day-to-day field operations on luxury, architect-driven residential projects, ensuring every detail aligns with the design intent and the company's high standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability in managing schedules, site activities, and construction quality. The Superintendent will typically oversee one primary project at a time and may assist with additional projects depending on complexity and scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for one or more residential construction projects.
• Interpret and execute architectural and design plans with accuracy and precision.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and architects to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate closely with architects and designers to ensure project execution aligns with design intent.
• Maintain organized, safe, and professional jobsites that reflect company standards.
• Utilize BuilderTrend software for daily logs, progress tracking, and communication with the project management team.
• Document project updates through photos, reports, and weekly updates.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards expected in high-end homes.
• Problem-solve independently while adhering to company protocols and schedules.
• Represent the company with professionalism and respect in all clients and trade interactions.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in custom residential construction or comparable commercial projects (e.g., high-end retail, spas, boutique build-outs) is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience coordinating high-caliber architects and designers preferred.
• Working knowledge of BuilderTrend software (training provided if needed).
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• High attention to detail and ability to anticipate next steps on-site.
• Professional demeanor suitable for client-facing environments.
