Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join a high-performing kitchen team. The CDP will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, timely execution, and cleanliness in line with the restaurant or hotel’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items in their designated section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, etc.).

  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan and prepare menus.

  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

  • Train and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.

  • Ensure equipment is maintained and any issues are promptly reported.

  • Maintain stock control and assist with inventory checks.

  • Uphold consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.

  • Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.

  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
