Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join a high-performing kitchen team. The CDP will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, timely execution, and cleanliness in line with the restaurant or hotel’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items in their designated section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, etc.).

Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations.

Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan and prepare menus.

Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

Train and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.

Ensure equipment is maintained and any issues are promptly reported.

Maintain stock control and assist with inventory checks.

Uphold consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.

Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.

Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
