Spanish Teacher, Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong classroom management skills, and be dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment. 

Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum
- Provide engaging and interactive instruction to elementary school students
- Utilize learning technology to enhance lessons and student engagement
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive educational community
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to evaluate student performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Ability to provide early intervention support when needed
- Knowledge of special education practices and Montessori methods
- Experience in tutoring or additional educational support is a plus
