Job Responsibility
· Providing pre and post sales and service support to customers to meet the objectives of the department
· To coordinate the activities of fellow service engineers and technicians with respect to attending service calls and issue resolution
· Systematically troubleshoot and repair of equipment in a timely manner
· Recommend proper usage, maintenance and corrective actions to customers
· Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance for contractual customers
· Support Projects and A&A works as required by the management.
· Ensure proper filing of service, warranty records and installation base
· Train and guide assistant service engineers and technicians on technical issues.
· To be the point of contact for management for updates on issue resolution and team activities coordination
· Help meet departments financial goals by recommending upgrades/spares to customers as deemed necessary
· Help meet departments productivity targets by reducing costs and improve productivity.
· Quoting of service pricing for repair
Responsibility Allowance
The responsibility allowance of $400.00 per month shall encompass the following duties that is expressly required by the Employer.:
(a) Standby responsibilities for tasks performed after office hours, including rest days. This pertains to assignments scheduled or paged, requiring standby duties for the service team.
(b) Before project handover to Service Team, Project Engineer to respond to calls after office hours, including rest days. The system will be handed over to the service team once all defects are resolved, requiring Project Engineer to conduct and attend to calls during this period.
