Our client is a Berlin/ Manchester based tech company, founded in 2014, specialised in developing data processing solutions for businesses across various industries. Their consulting teams consist of infrastructure and development experts with deep knowledge of modern data technologies, automated processing in Big Data environments, and scalable data centre operations in the cloud (AWS) and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

  • You build scalable, replicable infrastructures for customers (Cloud and on premise)
  • You design, implement, and operate Kubernetes clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling, and monitoring
  • You take ownership and interact with clients


Required experience:

  • Extensive experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management
  • Proficient in AWS and/or Azure, with hands-on experience in networks, managed databases, messaging systems, and IAM
  • In-depth knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes e.g. EKS, OpenShift, AKS)
  • Have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
  • Have expertise in networking, including load balancing, DNS, VPN, and security best practices (Firewalls, ACLs, WAF)
  • Have experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK/OpenSearch stack
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Enjoy working in a small, dynamic, and diverse team
  • Are an EU/EEA/UK national or hold a valid work permit
  • Live within ±3 hours of the CET timezone
