Job Information

As part of our corporate services team within the IT and tech support department your role as identified as Service Desk Operators you will be soley brought on board if successful to support our teams across the country and across the world in ensuring that all IT and technical issues can be resolved and actioned as promptly as possible. 

As the role is voluntary you will not be expected to work a full time work instead we would be looking at 2 hour shifts with a minimum of 3 hours per week. 

The role itself entails the following:
- Actioning Technical Support Emails and Requests
- Rectifying Technical and IT issues
- Working with Internal Staff to ensure they are provided with the appropriate IT support
- Educating Staff of the best way to use IT support systems
- Providing a pleasant and friendly experience for our staff 
- Walking through with our staff how to best utilise systems and software
- Contacting External Providers where issues are taking place outside of our control
- General IT Helpdesk Duties

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 Hours Per Week needed to be volunteered
- Preferrable IT Qualification recognised by NZQA
- Meet NZ Work Eligibility within NZ (NZ Citizen/Residency etc) 
- Experience working with Computer Systems and Expert Knowledge around using many systems including but not limited to Social Media
