About the job Whanau Kaupapa Child Welfare Advocate - Waikato

Organisation Information

Change Generation was established in January 2020 with a bigger picture of supporting whanau in every way possible. We saw the issue of government services allowing Whanau to fall through the cracks.

Our Solution to support whanau without the thought of Money or Putea involved in our solutions. Not only assisting with cases but every single aspect of life as a wrap around service.

Our obligation to our whanau that we work with is to ensure that we are not only holding government services to account but also all the way through to Prime Minister to account and ensuring that Whanau are being heard.

In addition we are a non government funded organisation the founder funds all services and resources provided and we intend to stay this way - this has allowed us to have an independent opinion at the same time allowing us to continue to be the best possible version of people that we could potentially be.

We provide a number of services that apply to every single person in this world that we live in:

  • Employment Search Services
  • Recruitment Services for Businesses
  • Child Welfare Advocacy
  • Whanau Support
  • MSD and Social Welfare Advocacy
  • Drug Support Services
  • Youth Services
  • Housing
  • Student Support

Our organisation and the ideas of growing our organisation along with the Whanau that we help will continue to be our focus along with ensuring that we have the appropriate focus to continue to work, empower and help our whanau succeed in their aspects of life.

No Position financially benefits from working or representing the Organisation as we are an Aroha based organisation as basing the work we do for the benefit of being paid.
