MET Technician

About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and busy accident repair centre, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their professional bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality work, efficiency, and delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strip and refit vehicle panels, bumpers, lights, trims, and mechanical components
- Remove and replace (R&R) damaged parts accurately and efficiently
- Wheel alignment, geometry checks, and ADAS calibration (desirable)
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical faults
- Liaise with parts departments and ensure correct components are fitted
- Work to manufacturer standards and insurance repair methods
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Complete job cards accurately and work to estimated times
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair environment
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)
- ATA-accredited or equivalent training (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of strip/fit procedures across a range of vehicle makes and models
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full UK driving licence
